Courtney joined Bovis, Kyle, Burch & Medlin in May of 2021 as an associate attorney in the Firm's Workers' Compensation and General Litigation departments.

Choosing to stay in the state she was raised in, Courtney earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice from Georgia College & State University.  She then went on to graduate from Georgia State University College of Law with a Certificate in Land Use & Environmental Law.  During this time, she served as Moot Court Competition team, was awarded the 2020 GSU College of Law Land Use Award, and earned a Land Use CALI award.  Throughout law school she also worked as a legal intern for a biometric technology company in the Atlanta area.
