Kim Roper joined Bovis, Kyle, Burch & Medlin in 2017 as a partner after practicing at another Atlanta firm for 17 years. Her practice is dedicated almost exclusively to defending employers and insurers under Title 34, the Workers’ Compensation Act of Georgia.  She travels extensively throughout the United States each year to present on various related topics by request employers and insurers.

Born in Wiesbaden, Germany, on April 5, 1974, Kim attended Kennesaw State University where she received a B.S. in Political Science, cum laude. Thereafter she attended Georgia State University and graduated in 2000, also graduating cum laude. While at Georgia State University School of Law, she was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity. 

Kim has been admitted to the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals. She is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia, the Cobb Bar Association, and the Workers’ Compensation Section of the State Bar of Georgia. Kim is also a member of the State Bar of Tennessee. She has spoken to various groups on all aspects of Workers’ Compensation law. Kim has been selected as a Georgia Super Lawyers’ Rising Star, an honor bestowed upon the top 2.5% of attorneys in the state in their respective practice areas.

Kim lives in Marietta, Georgia. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and children.
