Zapora joined Bovis, Kyle, Burch & Medlin in 2024 with a focus in complex insurance coverage disputes and bad-faith actions.  Prior to joining Bovis, Kyle, Burch and Medlin, Zapora worked in the personal lines insurance industry for 13 years in various product management and development roles for several top 15 property and casualty insurance carriers.  While attending law school to earn her J.D., Zapora continued to worked full-time, with a national insurance carrier managing a portfolio of insurance products for several states, in the south and mid-west.  Her work experience has provided her a breadth of knowledge in insurance products, underwriting practices, statutory regulations, policy contracts, and claim practices.  While attending law school Zapora externed with the Government Affairs group of a national property and casualty insurance company.

In addition to earning her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law, Zapora also holds an MBA in Finance and a MA in Economics from Clemson University. Zapora earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Georgia State University.

In Zapora’s free time she enjoys attending live music and sporting events.
