Wayne S. Tartline is a senior associate at the firm. He has been a litigator in the Atlanta area since 1999, litigating hundreds of highly contested cases. Mr. Tartline has expansive litigation experience encompassing civil and criminal cases in all of Georgia’s courts, from juvenile courts to the Supreme Court of Georgia. Mr. Tartline’s practice is currently focused on intellectual property law, including copyright, trademark and patent infringement and advertising injury litigation, as well as patent prosecution and intellectual property policy counseling. He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Mr. Tartline received a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering Degree (B.I.E.) from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1994. In 1999, he received his Juris Doctor degree from Georgia State University College of Law. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mr. Tartline was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1999, the United States District Court (Northern District of Georgia) in 2000, the Florida Bar in 2002, and the District of Columbia Bar in 2003. Mr. Tartline is a founding member of the Georgia Innocence Project. He is also a member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Cobb County, Georgia Bar Association; and the National Italian American Bar Association. He has argued numerous cases before the appellate courts of Georgia including, Harris v. Albany Lime & Cement Co., 291 Ga.App. 474, 662 S.E.2d 160 (2008), Wallace v. Bock, 279 Ga. 744, 620 S.E.2d 820 (2005), Landau v. Davis Law Group, P.C., 269 Ga.App. 904, 605 S.E.2d 461 (2004), Thompson v. State, 261 Ga.App. 828, 584 S.E.2d 7 (2003); Studenic v. Birk, A02A1844, 260 Ga.App. 364, 579 S.E.2d 788 (2003), Imerman v. London, 255 Ga. App. 140, 564 S.E.2d 544 (2002) and Rodriguez v. Nunez, 252 Ga.App. 57, 555 S.E.2d 514 (2001) |
