David Harris joined the firm in 2007. As a litigator with experience in first and third party insurance disputes, bad faith defense, trust and estate disputes, product liability, and surety claims, David has represented clients throughout Georgia in various state courts as well as all federal district courts in the state.

Some of David's most relevant experiences include the following:

-Successfully represented a surety in an indemnification trial in the Southern District of Georgia against a defaulted contractor for payments made under a construction bond. Obtained a judgment in favor of surety for all losses under the bond and specific performance of the collateral demand clause for a total bench verdict of over $125,000,000.00.

-Won summary judgment in state court after oral argument on a disclaimer of implied warranties defense in a products liability action.

-Obtained summary judgment in the Northern District of Georgia on a misrepresentation in the application defense in a first party bad faith claim on a fire policy.
