Kathy joined Bovis, Kyle, Burch & Medlin as an associate in 2007. Kathy practices primarily in the areas of insurance coverage, products liability disputes, and general litigation. Kathy graduated from Georgia State University College of Law. While attending law school, she was a litigation honors recipient, member of the mock trial team, graduate assistant to the Center for Law, Health & Society, and held various positions with several student organizations. During law school, she also assisted in representing low-income taxpayers before the IRS through the school’s tax clinic program. Kathy is a graduate of Agnes Scott College, where she majored in philosophy and international relations. She then received her Master of International Studies from Ewha University in Seoul, South Korea. Prior to law school, she worked as a bilingual editor for the Office of the Minister of Trade at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea. She also worked as an editor for an international journal. Kathy is a registered mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution and has mediated over 100 landlord-tenant and small claims cases.
