She came to Bovis, Kyle & Burch, LLC initially in 1988 with a criminal background (criminal prosecution, that is). She had been an Assistant Solicitor General in Fulton County for 5 years. She later took a leave of absence from Bovis, Kyle & Burch, LLC and did a tour of duty as an Assistant District Attorney in Cobb County from 1992 to 1995. Since 1995, however, Christina’s practice has been centered around the surety, fidelity and construction arena.

Christina earned a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in International Business from the University of Georgia in 1979 (magna cum laude, Phi Kappa Phi, Beta Gamma Sigma, Mortar Board). She remained at the University of Georgia and earned her Juris Doctor degree in 1982 (cum laude).

She has been privileged to write articles for the Southern Surety and Fidelity Claims Association and to present those articles at its annual conferences. The following are representative articles that Christina has written and presented:

"Problems Facing the Surety in Certifying Claims on Federal Projects," Southern Surety and Fidelity Claims Conference, 1992.

"When it Comes to Delays, Who and Where is the Forgotten Man Who Will Have to Pay for it All?," Southern Surety and Fidelity Claims Conference, 1997.

"Does the Surety for a General Contractor Have Rights Against a Subcontractor’s Performance Bond?," Southern Surety and Fidelity Claims Conference, 2000.

While Christina’s practice is primarily focused in the fidelity, surety and construction area, given her practice background, she also handles cases in a variety of different areas. These areas include Civil Rights actions under Section 1983, creditor bankruptcy work, interpleader actions and general contract and commercial litigation. Reported decisions in which Christina played a major role include the following:
