Alexa graduated summa cum laude from the Georgia State University College of Law. While in law school, she served on the Law Review Executive Board as the Lead Articles Editor and was a Graduate Research Assistant to Professor Kelly Cahill Timmons. She received CALI awards in Family Law, Constitutional Tort Litigation, Constitutional Law II, Security Interests & Liens, Employment Law, and Research Methods in Law. She interned at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for an administrative judge, hearing employment discrimination cases involving federal employees. Alexa also served as Vice President of Parents Attending Law School and interned at the Health Law Partnership (HeLP) Legal Services Clinic.
Before attending law school, Alexa worked at a nonprofit where she researched domestic minor sex trafficking and developed best practice standards for residential facilities serving trafficked youth.
Alexa lives in Cumming with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys reading fiction and yoga.
