Born and raised in metro Atlanta, Amber graduated cum laude from Agnes Scott College with a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Political Science.  Amber received her Juris Doctor degree from William & Mary Law School in Williamsburg, VA.  While in law school, she worked as a graduate research assistant, interned with the New Orleans Public Defender’s Office and was the judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Tiffany Anderson at Prince George's County Circuit Court. 

In addition, she worked as a student attorney in the  Lewis B. Puller, Jr. Veterans Benefits Clinic, where she assisted veterans with claims and appeals for disability compensation from the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the PELE Special Education Advocacy Clinic, where she advocated for the parents of students with disabilities as they sought educational and behavioral accommodations from local school districts. 

Amber is currently licensed to practice law in Georgia. She joined Bovis, Kyle, Burch & Medlin in 2023 as an associate in the firm’s Workers' Compensation group.
