Ashley Hurley has been a licensed attorney in the State of Georgia since 2015 and in the State of Tennessee since 2020. She is currently focusing her practice on advocating for commercial drivers and law enforcement officers who have had civil claims filed against them in State or Federal court.
In 2015 Ashley began her legal career as an associate in a residential real estate firm in Duluth, Georgia. Shortly thereafter, she transitioned into felony prosecution in Savannah, Georgia in 2016. A year later Ashley took a position as a felony prosecutor in Newnan, Georgia where she worked on a broad range of cases taking them from pre-indictment, through trial, and into appellate stages.
In 2021 Ashley joined her colleagues in Dallas, Georgia as a felony prosecutor where she primarily focused her efforts on advocating for victims of violent crimes while developing the Gang Unit and specializing in drug trafficking prosecution.
Major life events in 2023 spurred a new career change, and Ashley started her own law firm in order to help families protect their assets through estate planning. It was a tremendous experience being a trusted legal counselor for clients in her community as she guided them through making critical decisions about their futures and the wellbeing of their families.
Being a litigator at heart, Ashley once again shifted directions in her career when a new opportunity presented itself in 2025. She took a leap of faith and stepped into the civil litigation world under the mentorship of an esteemed colleague. Ashley is thrilled to incorporate her years of trial experience as a prosecutor into her practice today as an advocate for commercial drivers and law enforcement officers. Because of her depth of experience both in the courtroom and in the field with her colleagues, Ashley’s practice touches on a broad spectrum of issues which affords her the best opportunity to advocate for her clients.
