Charlie Ainsworth joined the litigation department of Bovis, Kyle, Burch & Medlin in May of 2026 with a focus on Insurance Defense and Construction Litigation.

Charlie has prior experience as a prosecutor for both Dekalb County and Gwinnett County. He graduated summa com laude from North Carolina State University in 2014 with a B.A. in Psychology. He spent the next several years as a law enforcement officer with the Raleigh Police Department before medically retiring after a line of duty injury. He graduated from the Campbell University School of Law in 2023. While in law school, Charlie was a member of Veteran Consortium Pro Bono group and the Environmental Law Society.

As a father of two, Charlie spends most of his time with his wife and children.
