Douglas J. Hassinger joined the firm as a Partner in 2025 after having worked with several high profile firms, and having litigated from “the other side of the table” with the Family Law section of Bovis, Kyle, Burch & Medlin. Mr. Hassinger’s practice has always been as a Civil Litigator, which allowed him to hone his skills in the Courtroom in front of both Judges and juries. Having a particular passion for Family Law, Mr. Hassinger has practiced in this area almost exclusively for the last decade.
Mr. Hassinger graduated from The Westminster Schools, The University of Georgia, and John Marshall Law School in 1997, where he led the Mock Trial Team to its first National Competition. Practicing since 1998, he has received multiple awards and recognition for his skills and professionalism. Most recently, he was inducted into the Marion T. Pope American Inn of Court as a Master, an honor reserved for the top 1.5% of American trial lawyers.
