Edward “Ward” Pankowski joined Bovis, Kyle, Burch & Medlin in 2022 as an associate in the firm’s civil litigation group. His practice focuses on civil litigation, premises liability, insurance defense, coverage litigation, and transportation.

Prior to joining the firm, Ward served as a judicial clerk in Tallahassee and as a summer associate in Savannah, with the latter focusing on premises liability, automobile and truck accidents, construction defect matters, contractual disputes, and defamation. Ward graduated magna cum laude from the University of Connecticut in 2018, where he was a member of the Special Program in Law and won the 2017 UConn Public Speaking Competition. He graduated with honors from Emory University School of Law in 2021, where he coached the Constitutional Law Team for the Emory Moot Court Society. In 2022, he received his Master of Laws from Pepperdine University’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution with a concentration in litigation.

Outside of work, Ward enjoys reading, working out at the gym, and touring historic sites.
