Jakob Abounassar joined Bovis, Kyle, Burch & Medlin as a summer associate and is now an attorney in the firm’s Employment Law and Litigation Department. He represents employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation matters, and his practice also includes product liability, general litigation, and insurance coverage issues. Jakob is licensed to practice law in Georgia.

Jakob graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia and earned his J.D. from Emory University School of Law. During law school, he gained experience across corporate, compliance, real estate, and public interest settings. He approaches his legal practice with discipline, focus, and a collaborative spirit.

Outside the office, Jakob enjoys exploring Georgia’s scenic landscapes and spending time with friends and family.
