Mallory G. Horne joined the firm in 2025, as a partner in the North Carolina office. She graduated from North Carolina State University in 2011, with a degree in Political Science. Immediately after undergrad, Mallory attended Elon University School of Law where she graduated with honors in 2014. As a lifelong North Carolina resident, Mallory cares greatly about her community and the people in it. This desire to give back to her community lead Mallory to focus her practice on issues surrounding elder justice and preventing the exploitation of vulnerable members of our community.
Mallory’s practice is primarily focused on guardianships, estate and trust litigation, and fiduciary litigation. With extensive experience in civil litigation, she also will work on general civil litigation matters and business disputes. As a result of her commitment to elder justice, the Guilford County Elder Justice Committee through the Guilford County Family Justice Center awarded Mallory with the Elder Justice Award in 2023. Mallory was also recognized for her pro bono work in the guardianship field in being awarded the Pro Bono Service Award by the Guilford County Bar Association in 2024. She is an active member in various legal organizations, previously serving as the President of the Guilford County Inn of Court in 2023-2024.
