Timothy “Tim” R. Bennett is an associate attorney in Bovis Kyle’s Atlanta office. He focuses his practice on defending individuals, businesses, and insurers in liability claims and workers’ compensation claims throughout the state of Georgia. Tim is a member of the Atlanta Claims Association.

Prior to joining Bovis Kyle, Tim served in positions that gave him first chair-trial experience in criminal and civil litigation settings. His extensive background in criminal investigations uniquely positions him to better assist clients effectively investigate accidents and present their arguments to the court. Tim also previously worked with prosecutor officers across Georgia to represent victims of domestic violence, as well as prosecuting DUI cases. As a public servant, he held great pride in keeping communities safe for the people of Georgia.

Tim tried several cases before State Court judges and the Georgia State Board of Workers' Compensation judges. Additionally, he successfully wrote and argued motions. As a litigator and prosecutor, Tim has investigated thousands of minor accidents and vehicular homicides.

Tim earned his J.D. from Emory University School of Law. He received his B.A. from the University of Georgia.
