Christina Gulas joined the firm in 2008 and became a partner in 2016. Her practice is focused on civil litigation. Christina graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in English and Psychology and then went on to attend Georgia State University for law school and graduated cum laude in 2008. Christina has dedicated her practice to defending businesses and individuals in tort claims.

As an experienced trial lawyer, Christina has excelled in personal injury litigation, products liability, and premises liability litigation. Christina has tried over twenty cases to verdict in Georgia in both State, Superior and Federal Courts. She has tried a variety of cases from car wrecks, to slip and falls achieving defense verdicts for her clients. Likewise, she understands the need to economically and efficiently resolve cases without the necessity of a trial and and she has had over 50 cases disposed of after arguing for summary judgment.

Christina has a passion for helping Georgia businesses, drivers and national corporations navigate the uncertain world of Georgia litigation. She prides herself on being immediately responsive and anticipating her client's needs. She draws on her firm resources and 15 years of litigation experience to advise clients on how to strategically avoid litigation and respond to it.

Representative cases include:

  • A defense verdict in Gwinnett County for a client who owned and operated a used car dealership. The Plaintiff tripped and fell in a "pot hole" while looking at vehicles and had multiple knee surgeries. Plaintiff had demanded $640,000. 
  • A defense verdict in a Gwinnett County car accident case in which liability was admitted by the defendant driver. 
  • A Cobb County car accident in which liability was admitted; Plaintiff had multiple back surgeries, and the jury awarded only her medical special damages. The Plaintiff asked for $3.8 million at trial. 
  • A defense verdict in Federal Court (Middle District of Georgia) in a tractor-trailer accident which resulted in a Plaintiff permanently disabled with $767,185.00 in medical special damages.
  • A Dekalb County verdict of under $1 million dollars in a case with multiple Plaintiffs who died or were seriously injured in an RV accident on the way to a football game. 
  • Summary Judgment for a shopping center owner in a case in which a teenage female was shot in the back as an innocent bystander on the premises after hours while attending a tenant party. 
  • A Court of Appeals decision reversing the State Court's denial of summary judgment in a case in which a Plaintiff fell off a bridge and punctured a lung while on the client's property. 
  • Dismissal of a case brought by a diabetic Plaintiff claiming a third degree burn injury to his feet after using a heated foot massager.
  • Summary judgment for an apartment complex in which a diabetic tenant stepped on a roofing nail and did not realize for days that he had a nail in his foot and risked future amputation. 
  • A defense verdict in Greene County for a driver who hit a downed tree. His passenger was recovering from back surgery and suffered significant injuries. 
  • Summary judgment in a slip and fall at a bowling alley. 
  • Countless mediations which resulted in early and favorable settlements for very happy and relieved clients. 

 

When Christina is not working, she is spending time with her husband and son. As a family, they enjoy golf, travel and skiing. Christina loves do-it-yourself home improvement projects and interior design. Christina and her family reside in Buckhead, Atlanta and attend both Christ the King Catholic Church and the Sadhu Vaswani Center.
