Garrett focuses his practice on representing clients in complex insurance coverage disputes, bad faith actions, surety, legal malpractice, and insurance defense matters. Garrett joined Bovis, Kyle, Burch & Medlin in 2021, as an Associate. Prior to joining Bovis, Kyle, Garrett worked for a civil litigation firm in the Atlanta area. Garrett has also worked in house at the largest publicly traded property and casualty insurance company giving him a unique insight into Insurers needs and expectations.
Garrett graduated from Samford University's Cumberland School of Law where he was Vice President of the Florida Student Bar Association and a member of the Cordell Hull Speakers Forum. While in law school, Garrett worked as a legal extern for the United States Attorney's Office Northern District of Alabama. Prior to law school, Garrett obtained his undergraduate degree in Agriculture Economics from the University of Florida.
In his free time, Garrett enjoys spending time with his wife Katie, reading, and watching college football.
