James Elliott is an associate at Bovis, Kyle, Burch & Medlin, LLC. Prior to joining Bovis, Kyle, Burch and Medlin, LLC, James honed his litigation and advocacy skills through working in first party insurance coverage litigation, property and development litigation, contract and business litigation, and criminal defense litigation. At Bovis Kyle, James puts his broad experience into practice by providing insurance companies with coverage advice, defending insurers in bad faith litigation, and in defense of various types of commercial and general liability claims against insured and self-insured companies.
James served in the Marine Corps, where he served in Iraq. His time in the Marine Corps fostered his sense of dedication, duty, and discipline. After his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, James pursued higher education at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas where he earned a degree in Organizational Management. James later attended Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, where he graduated in two and a half years.
