BKBM Attorney Marilyn Kapaun met with former Chief Justice Leah Ward Sears on June 24, 2025 as Sears accepted an award from the Atlanta Bar Association honoring her hears of legal service for the state of Georgia. Sears served as Chief Justice of the Georgia Supreme Court for 17 years and now is about to enter a new phase of her illustrious career as the Interim President of Emory University.
