BKBM Attorney Marilyn L. Bardie-Kapaun in the Race Against Homelessness, the Atlanta Mission's 5K race, explained as "Running in the cold for those who sleep in the cold."
Every race registration fee covers one night of shelter and services for one of Atlanta's 7,000 homeless individuals.
