Kim M. Jackson CLE Speaking Tour – March and April

BKBM partner Kim M. Jackson is a recognized leader in the Georgia legal community on ethical and liability issues affecting attorneys and on insurance coverage issues generally. For these reasons, Kim has been recognized as a Top 100 Lawyer in Georgia by Georgia Super Lawyers on multiple occasions, including in 2017, and is often invited to speak at continuing legal education seminars on the subjects of professional liability, insurance coverage, legal ethics, and litigation generally. Over the next two months, he will be speaking at a number of Continuing Legal Education seminars on each of these topics. 

On March 23, Kim is part of a panel of Judges and ethics experts in the Professional and Ethical Dilemmas in Litigation seminar. It is sponsored by Georgia ICLE and will take place at the State Bar of Georgia. Kim will be part of a panel discussion from 8:30am to 10:00 am. Kim has been part of this seminar several times. 

On March 30, Kim will be speaking at the “Not Your Typical CLE,” a CLE created and hosted by the Professional Liability Section of the State Bar of Georgia and ICLE. Kim has been a speaker at every CLE hosted by the Professional Liability Section of the State Bar of Georgia. This is the second year that Kim will speak on the subject of E&O Insurance for attorneys and law firms. The section is called “Malpractice Insurance Q&A” with Kim answering questions about E&O insurance for attorneys. His segment is from 8:35 to 9:20. The seminar will take place at the State Bar of Georgia. 

On April 27, Kim will be the Chairman of the litigation section of the Atlanta Claims Associations annual seminar: “Yes We Can, Make Claims Handling Great Again!”. The seminar provides a full day of lawyer CLE and claims professional CE credit and includes a number of Bovis Kyle Burch & Medlin speakers (this will part of a separate news article). In addition to serving as Chairman of the litigation part of the conference, Kim will moderate an ethics panel discussion on ethical issues in defending civil claims. The seminar will take place at the Northeast Hilton Atlanta, 5993 Peachtree Industrial Blvd., Peachtree Corners, GA 30092. 

On April 28, Kim will be speaking at “The Rules of Evidence: A Practical Toolkit.” This seminar will tackle a number of evidentiary issues involved in civil litigation. Kim will be speaking on the ethics hour of the CLE at 3:30pm. The seminar is hosted by National Business Institute and will take place at the Cobb Galleria Centre, 2 Galleria Parkway Southeast, Atlanta, GA 30339.
