As city attorney for the City of Alpharetta, Georgia, Bovis, Kyle, Burch & Medlin, LLC has defended Alpharetta in numerous claims alleging the violation of civil rights. While these claims often arise out of law enforcement activities, they have also included a wide range of non-law enforcement and high profile civil rights issues, including government speech, parades and Covid response measures.
